About The Lantern Project
We chose the name The Lantern Project because a lantern does more than glow. It carries light forward. Like a paper lantern rising into the night, The Lantern Project is meant to bring clarity, encouragement and useful guidance into moments that may otherwise feel dark or difficult to reach.

Every light shared can help someone see their next step more clearly.
The meaning behind the magnet
The paper lanterns on The Lantern Project magnet represent guidance moving outward into the community. The magnet can live on a refrigerator, classroom board, office cabinet or any everyday place where someone may need it. Its code creates a direct path to free emotional intelligence resources.
The magnet is meant to keep that path visible. It quietly reminds people that support, reflection and a practical next step are within reach.

Why The Lantern Project exists
When people feel anxious, overwhelmed, disconnected or simply unsure of what is happening inside them, the first barrier is often language. It is difficult to ask for help, reflect clearly or make a change when you cannot name what you are experiencing.
The Lantern Project is designed to close that gap. It brings together guidance on feelings, personal qualities, guided pathways and short, private practice through Lantern Arcade in one welcoming place. A visitor can begin with a familiar word, better understand what may be going on and practice one manageable action. The games are not tests or diagnoses. Like the guides, they offer a place to begin, not a lecture or a promise of a quick fix.
What The Lantern Project is building
Find clear language for an experience that may be difficult to explain.
Explore what the feeling may be pointing toward without judgment.
Connect the moment to a quality such as patience, resilience or confidence.
Turn reflection into a realistic action that can begin right now.
The long term aim is simple: make trustworthy emotional intelligence tools easier to reach and easier to use in homes, schools, workplaces and community settings. The Lantern Project can help people find language and direction before uncertainty becomes isolation and before a difficult moment feels impossible to move through.
Practice what the guides explain
Lantern Arcade gives visitors a private place to practice the path from feeling to action. Its quick games, daily challenges and real life quests help turn an idea into something a person can try in an everyday moment.
