Safety and intended use

Use this resource for guidance and reflection.

The Lantern Project offers guides, pathways and short Arcade games for understanding feelings and practicing supportive qualities. It is not therapy, medical care, diagnosis or emergency support.

How it can help

Explore language for what you may be experiencing, practice recognizing patterns and consider one manageable next step. Arcade answers, scores and quality results are learning prompts, not assessments of who you are.

Use your circumstances

A suggested answer or action may not fit every age, culture, relationship or situation. Pause when a prompt does not feel appropriate, place personal safety first and involve a trusted adult or qualified professional when support is needed.

When to seek more support

Contact a qualified professional when you need assessment, treatment or guidance tailored to your personal circumstances. Do not use a game, guide or pathway in place of that care.

If immediate help is needed

If you or someone else may be in immediate danger, call 911. For emotional distress or suicidal thoughts, call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
