Empowerment
An emotion that arises from claiming your own ability and voice.
Why do I feel this way?
Empowerment surfaces when you realize your choices, actions, and voice matter.
It is the feeling of stepping into personal authority not over others, but over your own life.
Empowerment bridges self trust and action.
How to change or channel it
- Recognize your small wins as they build trust in yourself.
- Set clear self honoring boundaries.
- Help others find their empowerment too as empowerment multiplies.
- Stay humble: Empowerment strengthens with service, not dominance.

Living with this feeling
Original Lantern Project guidance inspired by this topic. This section is not copied from the source book.
Taylor notices empowerment after an experience that is difficult to put into words. Instead of judging the feeling or forcing it away, Taylor names what is present and chooses one supportive practice: recognize your small wins as they build trust in yourself.. The feeling may still be there, but it is no longer the only voice directing the moment. Taylor has created enough space to choose what comes next with greater care.
“I can acknowledge empowerment without letting it define every part of me. I can listen to what it may be showing me and choose one caring next step.”
What might empowerment be asking me to notice, protect, accept, express, or change today?
Where it can lead
