Inspired
An emotion that arises from connecting deeply to an idea, vision or possibility.
Why do I feel this way?
Inspiration strikes when something external (a story, an act or a moment) connects with your internal drive or dream.
It unlocks energy and imagination to create, build or move toward something meaningful.
How to change or channel it
- Capture it quickly! Write it, sketch it or speak it aloud.
- Take even a tiny first action toward it today.
- Protect inspiration from immediate criticism, allow it to grow first.
- Share your inspiration if it strengthens it as connection often multiplies it.

Living with this feeling
Original Lantern Project guidance inspired by this topic. This section is not copied from the source book.
Sam notices inspired after an experience that is difficult to put into words. Instead of judging the feeling or forcing it away, Sam names what is present and chooses one supportive practice: capture it quickly! Write it, sketch it or speak it aloud.. The feeling may still be there, but it is no longer the only voice directing the moment. Sam has created enough space to choose what comes next with greater care.
“I can acknowledge inspired without letting it define every part of me. I can listen to what it may be showing me and choose one caring next step.”
What might inspired be asking me to notice, protect, accept, express, or change today?
