Love
An emotion that arises from deep connection, care and openness.
Why do I feel this way?
Love arises when you allow yourself to value another's existence as deeply meaningful, whether romantic, platonic, familial or universal.
Love bridges separation and dissolves fear, even when it feels vulnerable.
How to change or channel it
- Express it: Even small acts of love strengthen it.
- Trust that love is powerful even when imperfect.
- Allow love to expand, not control as it is about connection, not ownership.
- Remember: Love's strength lies in its freedom, not its demand.

Living with this feeling
Original Lantern Project guidance inspired by this topic. This section is not copied from the source book.
Sam notices love after a day when connection has felt distant. Instead of judging the feeling or forcing it away, Sam names what is present and chooses one supportive practice: express it: Even small acts of love strengthen it.. The feeling may still be there, but it is no longer the only voice directing the moment. Sam has created enough space to choose what comes next with greater care.
“I can acknowledge love without letting it define every part of me. I can listen to what it may be showing me and choose one caring next step.”
What might love be asking me to notice, protect, accept, express, or change today?
